Manchester United Eye Bournemouth’s Alex Scott
The Sun report that Manchester United are considering a move for Alex Scott.
Ruben Amorim is keen to add two new central midfielders to his squad next summer.
It comes amid the rumoured departures of Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte.
There is also doubt over the long-term future of Bruno Fernandes. This is as Fernandes named three transfer destinations he’d consider amid rumours linking him with a move away.
Red Devils chiefs have identified Bournemouth’s Scott, who received his maiden England call-up last month, as a target after impressing at the Vitality Stadium since arriving back in 2023.
United are also said to be tracking the progress of Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.
As revealed in Monday’s transfer roundup though, Baleba won’t be sold until at least 2027.
Aston Villa Enter Race For Spurs’ Brennan Johnson
Crystal Palace are set to face competition from Aston Villa for Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson.
The Wales international has fallen down the pecking order under Thomas Frank, with TEAMtalk reporting that the north Londoners are now trying to offload the winger in January.
This is despite his match-winning goal in the Europa League final at the end of last season.
Previous reports had suggested that Palace were frontrunners for the former Nottingham Forest man’s signature, but there’s now a possibility that the Villans hijack the move.
It is claimed that £30m-£40m could be enough for Spurs to facilitate a permanent sale.
Johnson is said to be open to a transfer, as he wants regular minutes ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with Wales set to discover their qualification fate via the play-offs in March.
Europe’s Elite Set to Battle For Leicester Wonderkid
Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga is drawing transfer interest from Europe’s elite.
The 16-year-old made history last term, becoming the second-youngest debutant in Premier League history at just 15 years and 271 days, and he has continued to impress for the Foxes.
Monga has totalled one goal and one assist in 13 Championship appearances this term.
According to TEAMtalk, this is enough to draw interest from English top-flight giants Chelsea and Manchester City, while record Champions League winners Real Madrid are also interested.

Bayer Leverkusen are exploring a deal for Brighton’s highly rated Harry Howell next summer.
The 17-year-old scored his first senior goal for the club earlier this term, netting his side’s fifth in a 6-0 victory over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup third round back in September.
Additionally, he provided two assists in their 6-0 triumph over Oxford United in the second round.
Able to operate as an attacking midfielder or as a right winger, Leverkusen hold concrete interest in the youngster, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
Plettenberg also confirmed that there is interest from other clubs in Germany, too.
Tottenham Pull Out of Antoine Semenyo Race
Sky Sports are reporting that Tottenham have pulled out of the race for Antoine Semenyo.
Bournemouth’s star man has been linked with a move away from the Vitality in January, with Spurs among those linked, however Frank’s side have reportedly moved on to other targets.
Manchester United and Manchester City remain favoured to land the Ghanaian forward, while Liverpool are weighing up their options following the long-term injury to Alexander Isak.
