Gyokeres was the outright top scorer in the top 10 European leagues last season. He played 33 games for Sporting in the Primeira Liga, scoring 39 goals and providing eight assists. If he can deliver a comparable season in north London in 2025/26, Arsenal could finally get their hands on the Premier League trophy.
However, while Arsenal have greatly strengthen a weak position, football betting sites still have Liverpool down as the favourites to win the title next season, while the Gunners are pipped to finish second.
