West Ham Starlet Subject Of Late Transfer Interest From Juventus

West Ham youngster Emeka Adiele is the subject of late interest from Italian giants Juventus over a potential transfer.

The 18-year-old left-back is attracting interest across Europe with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

West Ham have attempted to tie Adiele down to a new contract, but the club’s precarious league position and interest from top clubs mean he is likely to leave.

Juventus Want West Ham’s Emeka Adiele

Adiele has yet to make an appearance in the senior squad, but his performances for the Under-21s have not gone unnoticed.

He’s enjoyed a fine campaign so far, registering fivegoals and 10 assists in 20 appearances across various competitions, including the Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.

An England youth international, his explosive pace and technical ability mean he’s able to play in defence or further forward.

According to Pete O’Rourke, Juventus have enquired about the possibility of taking him this month, but face serious competition from Borussia Dortmund.

By selling him this month, West Ham will guarantee a fee for his signature or risk losing him for a nominal compensation figure in the summer.

Dortmund have a proven track record of signing young England internationals and developing them into top talents.

Jude Bellingham is a prime example of that, while they’ve also recently signed his brother Jobe.

Axel Disasi Deciding On West Ham

West Ham are expecting to be busy on deadline day as they look to bolster their squad to claw themselves away from the relegation zone.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are six points adrift of Nottingham Forest and are heavy 2/5 favourites to find themselves in the Championship next season.

They’ve signed two forwards in Taty Castellanos and Pablo, while winger Adama Traore also joined from Fulham.

Now Nuno wants to turn his attentions to improving a defence that has conceded 48 goals this season – more than anyone else in the top flight.

Chelsea outcast Axel Disasi remains a key target and could make the switch across London on Monday.

He’s eager to leave Stamford Bridge, having failed to make an appearance this season, but remains resistant to a move due to the threat of playing Championship football next season.

Former Leeds defender Charlie Cresswell was a target, but Toulouse are not willing to sell him this month.

After selling Lucas Paqueta to Flamengo, Nuno revealed he wanted to address three areas in his squad. He said: “We need to bring in a goalkeeper, a defender, and a midfielder. You cannot compete in this league when you are short on options.”

Tottenham keeper Antonin Kinsky remains an option, but their London rivals will want to bring in a backup replacement before letting him leave.
