Everton head to the English capital to take on West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and we’ve got the latest in terms of team news and confirmed lineups, as well as a prediction alongside our preview. West Ham vs Everton Preview With just two points separating the pair in the Premier League table, Everton meet West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon, where both sides will be looking to bounce back from defeats last time out. The Hammers were well-beaten 3-0 by Nottingham Forest last weekend, which followed a 2-1 win over Manchester United, as they currently sit in 14th place on 11 points after 10 matches. Their results have been inconsistent, to say the least, recording three wins, two draws and five losses across their league fixtures this term, but Everton, meanwhile, come into this one two points behind them in 16th. The Toffees’ last meeting with West Ham ended 3-1 in favour of the East London outfit, while their last clash at the home of the Hammers ended in a 1-0 triumph for Everton, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin netting the sole goal. West Ham Team News Julen Lopetegui will be without suspended duo Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez for Saturday’s action, while Nicolas Fullkrug is also expected to miss out as he continues to recover from an achilles problem. Kudus received a red card for violent conduct against Tottenham last month, and after originally receiving a three-match ban, this has now been upgraded to a five-match ban. Alvarez, meanwhile, was shown a red for a second bookable offence at the City Ground last weekend. Everton Team News As for Everton, they are without Armando Broja (achilles), James Garner (back), Timothy Iroegbunam (foot) and Youssef Chermiti (foot) through injury. Republic of Ireland international Seamus Coleman is also a major doubt after picking up a thigh injury, while Iliman Ndiaye is a minor doubt due to a dead leg. In more positive news, Abdoulaye Doucoure could be welcomed back to the fold, with Dyche revealing that the midfielder has ‘done very well’ to recover from his groin issue. West Ham vs Everton Confirmed Lineups West Ham Lineup: Fabianski; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Emerson; Bowen, Rodriguez, Paqueta, Soucek, Summerville; Antonio Everton Lineup: Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Gueye, Mangala; Lindstrom, Doucoure, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin West Ham vs Everton Prediction The UK’s best football betting sites are favouring the hosts to claim three points in this one, but we at SportsCasting can see the result going either way, which is why we’re backing a draw. Everton have been no stranger to playing out stalemates this term, sharing the spoils in three of their 10 English top-flight matches thus far, while they have drawn four of their last seven across all competitions. As for West Ham, they have drawn two of their last six league matches, with both games ending 1-1. Both sides will be eager to bounce back from their recent defeats, however we expect the points to be shared on Saturday.
