The Portuguese icon put pen to paper this week on a two-year extension with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo, 40, joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 after his high-profile exit from Manchester United.
His previous deal had been due to run out at the end of June.
On social media, Ronaldo posted: “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.”
According to reports, Ronaldo’s new contract also includes minority ownership in Al-Nassr.
This means he will be given an influence over who the club signs in future.
In January, it was reported that Ronaldo wants to sign out-of-favour Premier League star and former teammate Casemiro.

With this new deal, veteran star Ronaldo shows no signs of slowing down.
Since making his debut for Sporting CP in 2002-03, he has become one of global sport’s biggest ever stars.
Widely considered the greatest footballer to ever live, the debate between Ronaldo and fellow icon Lionel Messi has been rumbling on for decades.
But although neither player is still operating at the top level of European football, both remain active.
Earlier this month, Ronaldo fired Portugal to the 2025 Nations League title, proving he still has it on the international stage.
And this latest contract for Ronaldo suggests he has no plans to retire just yet.
