Angry Ginge has been confirmed as a contestant on this year’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here, but what happens to his Baller League team ‘Yanited’ while he’s away?

ITV has confirmed the lineup for this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here, with popular football streamer and influencer Angry Ginge confirmed as one of the standout contestants.

The 23-year-old is the bookmakers’ favourite to win the famous British reality television show.

He leads the market priced at 3/1, according to our I’m a Celebrity 2025 betting odds.

This isn’t his only venture into mainstream television, either.

Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was a popular feature at the most recent edition of Soccer Aid, while he also serves as manager of ‘Yanited’ in Sky Sports’ Baller League UK.

Baller League Season 2 is in full swing, as we’re already three games into the new campaign, but with Ginge set to miss the next few weeks while he’s in Australia, who will manage ‘Yanited’?

What Happens To ‘Yanited’ While Ginge Is In The Jungle?

‘Yanited’ have endured a slow start to Season 2 of Baller League UK, currently sitting in ninth place on two points, boasting a record of zero wins, two draws and one loss after three games.

They finished last season in third place before losing to MVPs United in the Final Four.

Those that are familiar with the team and the league itself will have seen that Angry Ginge didn’t coach the team on his own. He was joined by current Wealdstone manager Sam Cox.

Cox has remained with ‘Yanited’ despite his managerial role with Wealdstone in the National League, and it has been revealed that he will take charge of the team while Ginge is away.

The club confirmed that Cox will take charge in Ginge’s absence in a post on Instagram.

They wrote: “As everyone now knows, our manager Angry Ginge has flown out to Australia for this year’s I’m a Celebrity, Get me out of Here!

“This does mean Ginge won’t be in attendance for the next few weeks. He’s put full faith in Sam Cox and the boys to get the job done while he’s eating sheep brains in the jungle.

“We wish him the best of luck over there and know he’ll get the win and bring home the crown!”

Cox won’t be on the sidelines by himself, however. Steve Bracknall, an influencer who is the assistant manager of fictional online team Royal Oak FC, led ‘Yanited’ out on Monday.

The popular character helped inspire the team to a late 2-2 draw in their Matchday 3 encounter against Ian Wright’s Wembley Rangers despite being a man down due to a red card.

It is currently unknown whether Bracknall will return for Matchday 4.

When Will Angry Ginge Return to Baller League?

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here gets underway on Sunday, 16 November.

With celebs typically enjoying around three weeks in camp, it is expected that this year’s final will be on Sunday, 7 December.

Therefore, if Ginge makes it all the way to the final, which many are tipping him to do so, he will miss Matchdays 4, 5 and 6 of Baller League UK and will likely miss Matchday 7.

MD7 is played on Monday, 8 December, the day after the I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here final, but given the lengthy travel time to the UK from Australia, it is unlikely that Ginge will be back in the dugout managing his beloved ‘Yanited’.

It seems likelier that the popular influencer will make his Baller League return on Matchday 8, which is scheduled to be played on Monday, 8 December, at The O2 Arena in London.
