Brentford Striker Yoane Wissa has unfollowed the club on Instagram after the Bees blocked his proposed move to Newcastle United.
Congolese international Wissa, 28, has fallen out with Brentford due to the London club’s asking price for his transfer.
He has been heavily linked with a move to the North East to join Newcastle.
But with the Magpies not willing to reach Brentford’s £50+ million valuation, the deal has stalled.
And now it seems Wissa is venting his frustration in a brilliantly petty way, using social media to take out his anger at the club.
Yoane Wissa Unfollows Brentford On Instagram
As well as unfollowing the club on Instagram, Wissa has gone as far as to delete all Brentford-related photos from his feed.
There is now no evidence on the player’s Insta that he has ever been associated with the Bees.
Wissa’s bio no longer mentions Brentford, and his profile picture has been changed to an all-black image.
But despite the spat, Newcastle remain 4/11 favourites with UK betting sites to be Wissa’s club after the summer window.

Why Has Wissa Fallen Out With Brentford?
Over this summer window, Wissa has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle.
Having scored 19 Premier League goals last term, the striker was being lined up as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak.
Wissa has since gone on strike in order to force through the move, but Brentford are refusing to budge.
The club have set an asking price of around £50-£60 million.
That figure comes after Manchester United paid £75 million for Wissa’s former strike partner, Bryan Mbeumo.
Newcastle’s move for Yoane Wissa has been in doubt ever since Mbeumo left for Old Trafford.

And Newcastle have so far been unwilling to go beyond £40 million in negotiations.
As a result, the transfer has been in danger of collapse, with Wissa furious.
But it looks like he has now gone all-in on making the move happen, burning bridges with his current club for everyone to see.
Should the deal collapse, it is likely that Wissa will face severe punishment for his actions from Brentford.
It could quickly turn even more nasty, with player and club already publicly feuding.
