NASCAR Truck Series Rackley Roofing 200: Qualifying Washed Out, Corey Heim’s Pole Position, Lineup At Nashville

Sudden rain fell Friday afternoon at Nashville Superspeedway, washing out the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ scheduled qualifying session for the evening running of the Rackley Roofing 200. 

Circuit points leader Corey Heim, who won last Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, earned the pole position based on metrics. Kaden Honeycutt will begin on the outside of the front row. Layne Riggs, on the inside, and Grant Enfinger occupy the second row.

NASCAR officials plan to start Friday night’s event, but additional rain is expected in the area.

Connor Mosack Seeks To Qualify For Postseason 

With seven circuit races remaining in the regular season, Connor Mosack needs to make up some ground. 

Entering Friday night’s start at Nashville, Mosack ranked No. 18 in the points standings, 310 behind Heim. In 11 outings, the No. 81 Chevrolet team has recorded one top-10 finish and 30 laps led. He captured his first pole position at Atlanta.

In his first full Truck Series season, Mosack, who finished ninth at Rockingham Speedway, needs to make up 90 points to reach the provisional playoff cutoff line. 

To do so, he’ll have to improve his average finish of 21.2.
