Can NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Ty Majeski repeat his championship path?
Last year, Majeski fueled his journey to the 2024 title following a visit to Victory Lane at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
Energized from his effort at the 0.686-mile track, Majeski posted a win at Richmond and a P2 from the pole at Milwaukee during his next two starts. In the Championship 4 race at Phoenix, Majeski captured the pole and the drivers’ trophy.
Majeski will be working with a new spotter Friday night as Brandon Wilkinson, who works with Cup driver Ryan Preece, replaces Brandon Lines, who also spots for William Byron.
Majeski (+270) was tagged with the second-best sports-betting odds to win Friday, according to BetOnline Sportsbook. Points leader Corey Heim (+250) enters as the favorite.
While the Truck Series was on a three-week break, Majeski, 30, ventured out and claimed the noted Slinger Nationals super late model event at Slinger (Wisc.) Speedway on July 8.
