After the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series remained idle for the past three weeks, the drivers on Friday were forced to wait longer.
The circuit’s practice and qualifying sessions were rained out at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Friday, forcing series officials to anoint points leader Corey Heim the pole position for Friday night’s TSport 200. The starting lineup was based on series metrics.
Ty Majeski, the defending series and event champion, is scheduled to start on the outside of the front row, while Chandler Smith and Gio Ruggiero fill out the second row.
After 15 races, Corey Heim is on pace for one of the most dominant seasons in Craftsman Truck Series history.
