How does the NASCAR O’Rielly Auto Parts Series sound?
With Xfinity preparing to exit the second-tier of the national series after this season, the Sports Business Journal reported the Springfield, Missouri-based company is in the “pole position” to earn the naming rights for 2026.
“(O’Reilly Auto Parts) is in pole position to replace [Xfinity] as title sponsor of the (NASCAR Xfinity Series) starting next year, per people familiar with the matter,” Stern posted on X (Twitter).
Founded in 1957, O’Reilly Auto Parts, a subsidiary of O’Reilly Automotive, Inc., has more than 6,000 stores nationally, including a substantial footprint in areas with stock-car racing venues.
An official announcement could come as soon as next week.
With three regular-season races remaining and coming off a bye week, Justin Allgaier enters Friday night’s event at Daytona trailing injured pace-setter Connor Zilisch by seven points through 23 races.
