NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Love’s RV Stop 225 Entry List: Dates, Event Times At Talladega Superspeedway

Former actor turned NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Frankie Muniz earned clearance from doctors and will return for Friday’s Round of 8 event at Talladega Superspeedway.

Muniz, who gained fame as a star in the sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle,” missed the past month and half because of a broken wrist. He fell off a ladder while “changing batteries in the Ring camera in my backyard,” Muniz posted on social media in August.

He updated his situation Monday, entering the second of three Round of 8 events.

“I’ve been itching to get behind the wheel and this break only fired me up more. Super motivated to crush it and finish the season strong,” Muniz wrote.

In 18 races before his injury, Muniz collected one top-10 finish.

Entering Friday’s Love’s RV Stop 225 at the 2.66-mile tri-oval track, regular-season champion Corey Heim qualified for the Championship with a win at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course on Oct. 3.
