2022 RSM Classic Purse and Payouts: How Much Money Will the Winner Take Home?
The PGA Tour rolls on to Georgia this week for the 2022 RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club. Tony Finau was set to headline the field as he went for back-to-back wins on Tour, but his mid-week withdrawal set the stage for a tournament without much juice.
Even with no superstars in the field this week, there’s still a boatload of money up for grabs at Sea Island Golf Club. So, what is the purse for the 2022 RSM Classic, and how much money will the winner take home?
The winner of the 2022 RSM Classic will take home $1,458,000
Purses on the PGA Tour don’t blow up until we flip the calendar to next year. None of the eight winners on Tour to start the 2022-23 season have banked $2 million or more, and that trend will continue this week.
With more than $8 million up for grabs at the 2022 RSM Classic, the winner will take home a prize of $1,458,000. That’s a slight increase from last year when Talor Gooch won $1,296,000 for his triumph at the RSM Classic.
The $1.458 million prize will be the smallest we’ve seen since Tom Kim took home $1.44 million for his win at the Shriners Children’s Open back in early October.
