ARCA Menards Series Fans Respond To Brent Crews’ Last-Lap Move, Claiming General Tire 150 In 2OT At Phoenix

ARCA Menards Series driver Brent Crews presented his mother with a unique birthday present – one day late. It’s doubtful she’ll mind.
Making his first start for Joe Gibbs Racing at Phoenix Raceway, Crews overcame a double-overtime battle with a “frustrated” Brenden Queen to earn the General Tire 150 checkered flag at Phoenix Raceway.
“Winning this race is so special to me,” Crews told Fox Sports. “It was my mom’s birthday yesterday. I want to dedicate this one to her.”
A 16-year-old prospect, Crews, who started from the pole, executed the winning double-overtime move by clipping Queen and forcing the season-opening winner at Daytona into the wall and runner-up finish.
Queen, who led a race-high 92 laps, was not happy.
I don’t want to say anything to get me in trouble,” he said. “The only way they could beat us was to knock us out of the way.
“It’s just Frustrating.”.
