NFL Cheerleaders Super Bowl

NFL teams typically receive 150 rings if they win the Super Bowl which are handed out to whoever the owner sees fit – and that sometimes can include their cheerleaders.

The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl 2025 on February 9, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Whoever prevails will be gifted the rings which will become personal keepsakes to treasure for the rest of their lives.

The NFL contributes approximately $5,000-$7,000 for up to 150 rings for the winning team. However, the winning team can also choose to purchase more.

These rings are gifted by the owner of the winning organization to who they believe is worthy.

Do Cheerleaders Get Super Bowl Rings?

As long as you have contributed to a team that wins the Super Bowl then you are eligible for a ring and this does include cheerleaders.

There is no surprise that players, coaches and team executives will receive the prestigious jewelry for their part in the triumph.

Some owners also like to hand rings out to the cheerleaders who entertain the fans before and during games.

However, there is no guarantee that owners will decide to reward cheerleaders with the rings.

The Kansas City Chiefs in the past have rewarded cheerleaders with rings to commemorate their Super Bowl successes.

However, in other instances, instead of a ring, cheerleaders will receive another piece of jewelry.

Notable Times Cheerleaders Did Or Didn’t Receive A Ring

The Kansas City Chiefs gave Super Bowl rings to their cheerleaders in 2020, 2023 and 2024.

Denver Broncos also handed rings out to their cheerleaders when they emerged victorious at Super Bowl 50 in 2016.

This year’s finalists the Philadelphia Eagles though opted against rings when they last won the Super Bowl in 2018.

They instead opted to give their cheerleaders pendants during a ceremony to celebrate their triumph.

The New England Patriots in 2015 also decided to give diamond-encrusted pendants to their cheerleaders. This included a message which was inscribed that read: “We are all Patriots”.

In 2013, Baltimore Ravens cheerleader Alyssa in an interview with Esquire explained that they planned to buy their own rings as they went on to emerge victorious.
