NASCAR Xfinity Series Andy’s Frozen Custard 300: Qualifying, Austin Hill’s Pole Position, Lineup At Texas Motor Speedway

With Friday afternoon rain wiping out the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ qualifying session at Texas Motor Speedway, driver Austin Hill was awarded the pole position for Saturday’s Andy’s Frozen Custard 300.
Hill, who claimed last Saturday’s circuit event at Talladega Superspeedway, will begin on the inside of the front row, next to points leader Justin Allgaier. The pair has combined for five wins in the opening 11 events this season.
Jesse Love and Jeb Burton will comprise the second row, followed by Harrison Burton and Sheldon Creed.
With only 38 spots available, Katherine Legge qualified for the field and Cup regular Kyle Larson, who is subbing for injured Connor Zilisch, will begin P20.

Dawson Cram Seeks Redemption At Texas
The season continues to test driver Dawson Cram.
In his previous two Xfinity Series starts, Cram earned a P35 at Phoenix and P32 at Las Vegas. His last attempt, at Rockingham, ended with a disqualification, his fourth this season. He also was forced to withdraw at Bristol.
“This season has tested me in a lot of ways,” Cram said via press release. “I’m ready to fight for our place in this weekend’s race.”
In 35 career circuit starts, Cram has not registered a top-10 and compiled 16 DNQs. His average finish was 30.4.
Mike Harman Racing reportedly supports the 23-year-old Cram, who did not qualify for the Texas event after rain canceled Friday’s qualifying.
