NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Justin Allgaier will begin the Round of 8 on the pole at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Allgaier, the circuit’s reigning champion, clocked a hot qualifying lap of 30.157 seconds, posting his second pole of the season and 12th of his 16-year career.
JR Motorsports teammate and regular-season champion Connor Zilisch will start the Focused Health 302 on outside of the front row after registering a lap at 178.719 mph.
Taylor Gray, eliminated from the playoffs last weekend, clocked the fastest practice lap at 30.557 seconds.

Trevor Bayne Returns To NASCAR Xfinity Series
Former Cup Series driver Trevor Bayne remains poised to return to the Xfinity Series and attempt to maintain the momentum the Sam Hunt Racing team established last Saturday at Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course.
Kaz Grala, the organization’s simulation and reserve driver, piloted the No. 24 Toyota to a P4 finish.
Bayne, who serves as Legacy Motor Club’s driver optimization leader, last competed on the Xfinity level in September 2023 and posted a P33. The 2011 Daytona 500 titleholder, Bayne‘s last visit to Victory Lane came at Iowa Speedway for an Xfinity Series event.
Bayne on Saturday qualified 26th at 173.099 mph.
