NASCAR Xfinity Series United Rentals 250: Austin Hill Earns Top Odds

NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers understand the possibilities and have a mark to reach: 57 points.

Any pilot with at least that number of playoff points following Saturday’s Round of 8 event at Talladega Superspeedway will qualify for the Championship 4 race at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 1. 

Currently 82 points above the transition line, regular-season champion Connor Zilisch is secure, and Justin Allgaier needs 13 points to qualify. 

Jesse Love, who needs 27 points, could have a shot even if the No. 2 Chevrolet does not visit Victory Lane. Four drivers will be eliminated following the Oct. 25 event at Martinsville. 

Non-playoff driver Austin Hill (+370) received the top sports-betting odds to capture Saturday’s United Rentals 250 title at the 2.66-mile tri-oval track, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. 

Zilisch, who owns a circuit-best 10 wins, and Love received the second-best odds at +550. The two drivers battled last Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Expect that battle to continue this weekend.

After posting a P3 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last Saturday, Allgaier became the first Xfinity Series driver to collect 300 career top-10 finishes. Kyle Busch is second on the list with 267. Allgaier received +1000 odds to capture his fourth checkered flag this season.
