None of the drivers in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series’ Round of 10 have previously visited Victory Lane at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Only two pilots, Daniel Hemric and Grant Enfinger, have experience at the Magic Mile.
Christopher Bell captured the venue’s last circuit race in 2017.
Regular-season champion Corey Heim (+150) earned the top sports-betting odds to capture the Team EJP 175 in his first Loudon outing, according to BetOnline Sportsbook. Layne Riggs, last week’s winner, received the second-best odds at +225.
Friday’s qualifying could prove advantageous for the newcomers, like Heim. A driver beginning along the front row has won each of the past 10 series races.
With eight wins this season, Heim is one shy of Greg Biffle’s all-time mark, which he established in 1999. The No. 11 Toyota driver also remains 219 laps shy of setting a single-season record set by Mike Skinner in 1996.
