With NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Returning From 2-Week Hiatus, Corey Heim Earns Top Championship Odds

As the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series returns after a two-week hiatus, a refresher course could be in line as the circuit rolls into Sin City.
The opening two weeks provided high-level drama with Parker Kligerman getting disqualified at Daytona and Kyle Busch earning the Week 2 win at Atlanta, frustrating and blocking out Stewart Friesen (+6500) from a postseason berth.
Corey Heim (+220), FanDuel Sportsbook’s betting favorite to capture the drivers’ championship, remains the lone playoff pilot. He qualified after initially placing second to Kligerman during the season-opener.
Through two races, the points standings appear to be developing additional drama. Buoyed by two top-10 finishes, Grant Enfinger (85 points) holds a one-point lead over reigning circuit champion Ty Majeski (+300). With 79 points and a series-best 36 laps led, Chandler Smith (+450) ranks third, Heim (69) fourth and two-time series champion Ben Rhodes (66) fifth.

NASCAR Truck Series Ecosave 200 Storylines
- Will Enfinger’s early season momentum fuel a third run to the Championship 4? His title odds were listed at +850.
- As the season progresses, tracking the progress of rookie Gio Ruggiero +10000), who was credited with a P2 at Daytona after leading for 11 laps, will be interesting. Coming out of late models, the 18-year-old prepped for the national series with just 10 ARCA Menards Series outings. In the ARCA East circuit, Ruggiero earned one win and five top-fives.
- Will Rajah Caruth (+2000) rebound from a skidding start? After wrecking at Daytona and Atlanta, the Hendrick Motorsports pilot enters Friday 30th in the points standings.
- Can rookie Connor Mosack (+10000) continue to display his raw driving skills? He won the Atlanta pole and led 30 laps before fading. Graduating from the ARCA Menards Series, the 26-year-old won the Tide 150 at Kansas last season. Will he break through on the national series?
