Klay Thompson
Klay Thompson is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors. He is widely considered among the greatest shooters in NBA history. Thompson’s accolades include: five-time NBA All-Star, two-time All-NBA Third Team, NBA All-Defensive Second Team.
Thompson played college basketball for three seasons for the Washington State Cougars. In 2011, he was selected as the 11th overall pick by the Golden State Warriors, where he and Steph Curry became known as the Splash Brothers.
After sustaining an ACL injury during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals and missing the entire 2019/2020 season, he suffered a torn achilles tendon that caused him to miss the entire 2020/2021 season. He finally resumed playing in January 2022.
He is the son of former NBA player Mychal Thompson.
