Who Are The Team Europe Ryder Cup WAGs?
Europe’s Ryder Cup record when playing in America mightn’t be the best, but captain Luke Donald and co head to Bethpage Black this year full of confidence that they can retain the Ryder Cup.
All of the action gets underway on Friday at 12.10pm BST, with the foursomes kicking us off in the morning session before four-ball matches in the afternoon session.
Unbeaten duo Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton face Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas in the first match of the 2025 Ryder Cup, which could well set the tone for the entire event.
Ahead of the 45th Ryder Cup, all players from both Europe and USA went for a Gala Dinner on Tuesday evening, followed by the Opening Ceremony the following day.
The European team dazzled alongside their wives and girlfriends, who will be cheering on the Blue and Gold every step of the way at Bethpage.
Ironically, the last time Europe won the Ryder Cup in America was back in 2012, so there is a chance none of these relationships existed back then. Apart from Justin Rose who has been married for almost 20 years!

Meet Team Europe Ryder Cup WAGs
Olivia Peet – Ludvig Aberg’s Girlfriend
Ludvig Aberg is one of the best golfers in the world. This weekend, the Swedish sensation embarks on his second Ryder Cup, and he’ll have his girlfriend along side him once again.
Aberg is dating former tennis player Oliva Peet, and has been for several years. The pair met while they were both student-athletes at Texas Tech University.
Peet continues to be involved with Texas Tech athletic department, whilst religiously supporting her man on the golf course week in, week out.

Erica Stoll – Rory McIlroy’s Wife
Rory McIlroy’s wife Erica Stoll has been by the Northern Irishman’s side for around a decade now.
Stoll is American-born, previously working for the PGA of America. The pair tied the knot back in 2017, before welcoming their daughter Poppy into the world in 2020.
It hasn’t been smooth sailing for McIlroy and Stoll for the entirety of their relationship. The five-time major champion filed for divorce in May 2024, with it looking like their relationship was over.
However, the couple quickly reconciled and publicly confirmed they will instead try and resolve their issues. It seems they have with McIlroy and Stoll firmly loved up once again.

Jon Rahm’s net worth has surpassed $100m since his move to LIV Golf, but his wife Kelly Cahill has been by his side for years.
Rahm and his wife Cahill are in fact college sweethearts from their time at Arizona State University. They began dating whilst at Arizona State and have been together ever since.
Kelly is a talented sportsperson in her own right, having formerly been a javelin thrower. The pair got married back in 2019 and have had three children since then.

Shannon Hartley – Robert MacIntyre’s Girlfriend
Robert MacIntyre makes his second appearance for Team Europe at the Ryder Cup this year, and will have his girlfriend alongside him this time.
MacIntyre’s girlfriend Shannon Hartley is an NHS nurse, with their relationship blossoming in the public eye.
The pair regularly share posts on social media of each other and spend as much time together as they can.
Hartley supports her Scottish boyfriend as he travels the world, sharing in his emotional victories in both Europe and America.
Katherine Gaal – Matt Fitzpatrick’s Wife
Matt Fitzpatrick is married to Catherine Gaal, a former Miss New Jersey runner-up.
Fitzy’s wife is also an accomplished marketing manager, as well as being one of the most popular figures amongst the Team Europe Ryder Cup WAGs.
Their pair got married back in October 2024. They are yet to have any children, but that could be on the cards next.

Katie Philips – Justin Rose’s Wife
Katie Philips as she was formerly known has been married to her husband Justin Rose for almost two decades now.
Kate is a former international gymnast, so understands the demands of professional sport first hand. She has been by Rose’s side for over 20 years now, including years spent dating before officially tying the knot.
Together, Justin and Kate Rose run the Rose Ladies Series – a professional golf tour for female players in the UK.
The pair were recently spotted at a horse racing event together, with Rose in the Royal Procession at Ascot.

Emily Braisher – Tyrrell Hatton’s Wife
Emily Braisher is the wife of LIV Golf star Tyrrell Hatton.
The pair got married back in 2021, reportedly arriving late for their own wedding! The couple in fact showed up 30 minutes late for their wedding ceremony in Asheville, North Carolina.
The pair have been by each other’s side for several years now, regularly sharing social media posts of their relationship.
Hatton’s wife Emily previously wrote the ‘Wife on Tour’ blog, which was an incredibly popular read for a long time. Braisher will be cheering her husband on at Bethpage Black once again this year.

Paige Straka – Sepp Straka’s Wife
Sepp Straka was one of two Team Europe golfers who appeared without a partner at the 2025 Ryder Cup Opening Ceremony.
However, he is in fact married to wife Paige. The pair met while he was a golfer at the University of Georgia and Paige was a student at Auburn.
The reason for Paige’s absence at the 2025 Ryder Cup is due to the pair having their second child prematurely earlier this month.
Straka will still play a major part for captain Luke Donald this year in New York, but understandably his wife Paige can’t make it.

Clare Craig – Tommy Fleetwood’s Wife
Tommy Fleetwood’s Ryder Cup record is one of the best on Team Europe as he looks to help the Blue and Gold retain the coveted trophy this year at Bethpage Black.
Alongside Fleetwood this year in New York is his wife Clare Craig. The pair have been married since 2017, and Craig also acts as Fleetwood’s manager.
There is a 23 year age gap between the couple too, with Fleetwood 34-years-old and his wife Clare now 57-years-old.
Craig reportedly turned down Fleetwood’s initial romantic attempts due to the age difference, but eventually came around and the pair have been loved up ever since.

Wendy Lowry – Shane Lowry’s Wife
Shane Lowry married his wife Wendy Lowry back in 2016. The couple met four years prior to that in 2012, so have been together for over 13 years now.
Wendy is a former hospital nurse in Dublin, but no longer serves this role after the pair spend the majority of their time living in America due to Lowry’s commitments to the PGA Tour.
Back in 2019, the Open Championship winner revealed that he owes his wife Wendy a lot for sticking by his side through thick and thin both on and off the golf course:
“There were plenty of times I have been crying myself to sleep or wondering am I able to keep going but when you have a good strong woman behind you it makes it easier,” Lowry told the Irish Independent.

Ryder Cup rookie Rasmus Hojgaard is also currently in a relationship with his girlfriend Julie Sander Danielsen.
The 24-year-old hasn’t been dating Danielsen for too long, but the pair do make frequent appearances on each other’s social media pages.
The Danish golfer is regularly seen on his girlfriend’s Instagram profile, with the pair enjoying a happy relationship right now.

Viktor Hovland – Single
Team USA’s Ryder Cup record playing at home is rather impressive, but Viktor Hovland is one man capable of changing that this year at Bethpage Black.
Norwegian golf star Hovland is one of the few players competing in the Ryder Cup 2025 who is reportedly single.
The 2023 FedEx Cup champion is evidently more focused on his golf game right now than he is about finding a partner.
When Europe won the 2023 Ryder Cup at Marco Simone in Rome, Hovland was seen holding the trophy surrounded by all of the other European WAGs.
Hovland clearly finds the topic of having a girlfriend rather amusing.
