Arsenal have been handed a huge boost ahead of Wednesday’s meeting with Bayern Munich with captain Martin Odegaard set to return from injury.
The Norwegian international is expected to feature against Bayern in the Champions League after almost two months on the sidelines.
Arsenal Injury Update: Martin Odegaard Expected To Feature Against Bayern Munich
Arsenal have been handed another huge boost as club captain Martin Odegaard has returned from injury.
Odegaard was spotted back in first team training on Tuesday and may even feature against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Mikel Arteta has lost some key players in Gabriel and Viktor Gyokeres in recent weeks to injury, but has been handed a huge boost with the former Real Madrid midfielder expected to make the squad for Wednesday’s visitors of German champions Bayern.
Arsenal are set to win the Premier League title if they continue on their current trajectory, but are also in a strong position in the Champions League league phase.
The Gunners have maximum points from their opening four European matches, scoring 11 goals without conceding. They welcome a Bayern Munich side to the Emirates who are one of just two sides with a 100% winning record in the Champions League so far.
Former Tottenham talisman Harry Kane has scored 109 goals for the German giants and will be looking to come back and haunt his old rivals once more as his side look to become just the second team to beat Arsenal this season.

Further Injury Boosts For Arsenal As Gabriel Jesus Returns To First Team Training
Striker Gabriel Jesus was also spotted back in first team training on Tuesday. Although Jesus won’t feature against the German champions midweek, his return to the pitch isn’t too far away.

Arsenal are the current favourites in the latest Champions League winner betting odds, and Jesus’ return could well be pivotal in helping the Gunners clinch their first major European trophy.
The likelihood of seeing Jesus back in action this week is slim, with boss Arteta revealing he is closely monitoring the Brazilian and plans on playing him in an upcoming friendly.
If Jesus can get back to full fitness soon, he could well feature heavily over the busy festive period for the Gunners.
