Manchester United are receiving backlash over their ticketing rules after Luke Littler was spotted in the away end at Wolves on Monday.
Luke Littler Away End Appearance Sparks Manchester United Backlash
Darts world champion Luke Littler was spotted in the Manchester United away end at Molineux on Monday evening as the Red Devils cruised to a 4-1 win over Wolves in the Premier League.
United took the lead through Bruno Fernandes in the first period, however Jean-Ricner Bellegarde struck back for the hosts to restore the parity on the stroke of the half-time break.
Thankfully for the travelling fans, Ruben Amorim’s side came out firing in the second half.
Goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Mason Mount and a second of the evening for Fernandes ensured all three points for United, as they moved up to sixth place in the English top-flight table.
The victory followed on from a 1-1 draw against West Ham in midweek. Roy Keane slammed United’s ‘schoolboy’ display against the Hammers, who sit in the league’s relegation zone.
But while many celebrated the result, some of the club’s match-going fans questioned how Littler acquired tickets to attend, with some suggesting he had received preferential treatment.

It comes as Littler was spotted alongside United’s director of fan engagement, Rick McGagh.
This led many to believe that the darts star had been gifted the tickets by the club, while many season ticket holders are unable to buy away tickets due to a variety of ticketing requirements.
One fan wrote: “Genuine fans being treated like dirt, at aways having to prove that they own the ticket…. yet a celebrity can get a ticket no issue…”
“I would complain to the director of fan engamement Rick McGagh… oh hang on who’s that next to Littler???”

The Truth Behind Luke Littler’s Away Ticket
Littler has since revealed that he didn’t receive the tickets directly from the club but rather from one of United’s main sponsors – Adidas, whom he thanked on his Instagram account.
Adidas are tied into a 10-year partnership with the Red Devils worth an approximate £900m, and it is reported that they receive four tickets for every away game thanks to the deal.
Seemingly, they gifted three of their tickets to Littler and two of his friends for Monday’s clash.
Despite this being the case, many United fans remain frustrated with the club’s ticketing process.
One supporter wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “The outrage over tickets landing in ineligible hands last night is justified. While the club didn’t issue them, the presence of club-affiliated personnel instantly raised the issue’s profile.
“The biggest insult? The club thought it was okay to post pictures of this on social media for “likes.”
“This is peak disconnection. Loyal fans face strict sanctions, bans, and procedural breaches, while the club celebrates the very rules that match-goers circumvent.
“It proves there’s one rule for social media optics and another for the actual fanbase.”

United are next in action against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Monday night.
It remains unconfirmed whether Mbeumo, Noussair Mazraoui and Amad will be able to feature, with the AFCON deadline to release players to their national sides set for the same day.
Amorim is hopeful, however, the trio will be allowed to play in the fixture.
