Saudi Pro League Desperate To Sign Mohamed Salah
Officials in Saudi Arabia will do ‘whatever it takes’ to bring unsettled Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah to the Saudi Pro League during the January transfer window, per GulfNews.
Salah has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in recent days, having launched an explosive tirade against Arne Slot after being benched for three consecutive matches.
The winger claimed that the club have ‘thrown him under the bus’ and that his relationship with Slot is now non-existent, as he remained an unused substitute in the 3-3 draw against Leeds.
He also suggested that Saturday’s clash against Brighton may be his final game for Liverpool.
The 33-year-old is due to link up with the Egypt national team for AFCON next Monday.
Al Ittihad currently lead the race for his signature, according to the latest Mo Salah next club odds, followed by fellow Saudi clubs Al Hilal, Al Nassr and Al Ahli in the betting market.
Al Qadsiah are also credited with a strong interest in last season’s Golden Boot winner.
Manchester United Lead Carlos Baleba Race
Manchester United are reportedly leading the race for Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.
United have been long-term admirers of the Cameroon international, but having been priced out of a move for him in the summer, many believed that the Baleba ship had already sailed.
Previously valued at around £105m, Sky Sports now report that the Seagulls will listen to offers of around £74m for the central midfielder after an underwhelming start to the season.
Additionally, it is claimed that Baleba prefers a move to Manchester United over Bayern Munich – opening the door for the Red Devils to make a move for the 21-year-old this winter.
Ruben Amorim is keen on signing a midfielder, and alongside Baleba, Crystal Palace and England star Adam Wharton remains high on the Portuguese manager’s wishlist.
Jack Grealish Keen On Permanent Everton Move
Everton loanee Jack Grealish is keen on joining the Merseyside club permanently.
Football Insider report that the England international is ‘loving life’ at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and sees his long-term future with the Toffees, working under David Moyes.
Their report states that a return to Manchester City is ‘well and truly closed’.
The Cityzens are pushing towards finding a permanent suitor for the 30-year-old at the end of his loan next summer, with Everton firmly ‘in the box seat’ to land the ex-Aston Villa star.
It is claimed that the Toffees are able to turn his loan move into a permanent stay for a £50m fee next summer, however they may be able to secure his signature for a reduced £30m fee.
Roma To Replace Evan Ferguson with Joshua Zirkzee
Serie A side Roma are in talks with Manchester United over signing Joshua Zirkzee.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are offering a loan deal with an option to buy tied to certain objectives being met for the Dutchman, with United keen to cash in on the forward.
It comes as the Giallorossi look to bring an end to Evan Ferguson’s disappointing loan spell. They are said to be in talks with Brighton over sending the Irishman back to England in January.
He has underwhelmed massively since arriving in the Italian capital, having registered just one goal and one assist in 14 matches across all competitions.
Alejandro Garnacho Has No Regrets Over Man Utd Exit
Chelsea and Argentina winger Alejandro Garnacho has admitted he has no regrets over the manner of his exit from Manchester United last summer.
The winger switched Old Trafford for Stamford Bridge for a reported £40m in August.
Asked if he had any regrets with how his time at United ended, Garnacho said: “No.”
He continued: “I came here to play my football and show people the player I am.
“Sometimes in life, you have to change things to take a step forward or to improve as a player. I think it was the right moment and the right club. So it was an easy decision.
“I wanted to stay in the Premier League because I think it’s the best league in the world. I spoke with the manager [Enzo Maresca] before I came here and he explained to me the project, he convinced me and I’m really happy to be here.
“He explained to me everything and now working together, we are doing well. We are going to improve with time, it’s just three months together, and he trusts me and that is the most important thing for confidence, and I want to improve.”
