Manchester City Eye January Move for Marc Guehi
BBC Sport report that Manchester City are exploring a move for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi this month after both Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias suffered injuries last weekend.
Fellow City centre-back John Stones is also currently out with a thigh issue.
All three are expected to be out for an extended period of time, prompting Pep Guardiola’s side to recall academy product Max Alleyne from his loan spell at Championship side Watford.
Keen on adding to their options, a January move for Guehi ‘should not be discounted’.
City were already interested in signing the England international as a free agent in the summer but are now set to accelerate their interest in the in-demand 25-year-old.
In the Premier League, Liverpool are also interested in Guehi, while top European sides Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter and Atletico Madrid are linked with moves, too.
Elsewhere, Crystal Palace want Nathan Ake, however a January exit for the Netherlands international now looks unlikely given the Cityzens’ numerous defensive concerns.

Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United exit may have opened the door for Marcus Rashford’s return.
That’s according to The Mirror, who report that while Rashford has been vocal about his desire to remain with Barcelona, Amorim’s departure could alter how the forward views his future.
The England international, who is under contract at Old Trafford until 2028, fell out of favour under the Portuguese manager last season, prompting a loan move to Aston Villa.

The Red Devils have made an enquiry to Atalanta about Ederson, according to Nicolo Schira.
Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray have also asked for information about the Brazilian.

Despite this, Bayern are continuing to monitor the striker market so they are prepared at any time in case the former Tottenham Hotspur star decides to leave the club.

Crystal Palace are set to rival West Ham for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen this winter.
That’s according to The Daily Mail, who report that Palace have entered the race for the Norwegian, as they could potentially lose star striker Jean-Philippe Mateta in the summer.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the Frenchman.
The Old Gold value Strand Larsen at around £40m, with four and a half years remaining on his contract, which could prove to be a stumbling block for Palace and the Hammers.
