A compelling heavyweight match-up between Daniel Dubois and Jared Anderson looks set for the Teofimo Lopez vs Shakur Stevenson undercard in Saudi Arabia next February.
Dubois will return to the ring for the first time following his knockout defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in July, with Anderson looking to cause the upset.
Daniel Dubois vs Jared Anderson Set For February Heavyweight Showdown In Saudi Arabia
Daniel Dubois vs Jared Anderson has reportedly been officially signed and is close to being confirmed for a colossal heavyweight match-up in the New Year.
Although the entire fight card is yet to be officially announced by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh or any promoters, Dubois vs Anderson looks set for February in a huge Riyadh Season show in Saudi Arabia.
An official date is yet to be confirmed, with a venue to be announced in due course too. This cross-Atlantic heavyweight showdown won’t feature as the main event though in February, instead being tipped to be a co-main event to a huge world title fight in the super-lightweight division.
Should Dubois vs Anderson get officially confirmed in the coming weeks, boxing betting sites will likely list ‘Dynamite’ as the heavy pre-fight favourite. Although he was conclusively knocked out by Oleksandr Usyk in his last contest, Dubois has the better wins on his resume and is of course the former world champion.
That being said, Anderson has had some stellar wins of his own, but was stopped in one sided fashion by Martin Bakole back in August 2024 in what was a fight he looked increasingly uncomfortable in as the rounds progressed.
Many people felt that Dubois quit against Oleksandr Usyk again in their July showdown, but he has the chance to silence those doubters in his next fight as he takes on another world class heavyweight in ‘Big Baby’.
The winner of February’s Dubois vs Anderson showdown will undoubtedly be in a strong position going forward in 2026 to land a world title shot. Depending on what happens with Usyk and his four undisputed titles, they may become fragmented which would benefit the winner of this match-up.

Dubois vs Anderson Confirmed For Teofimo Lopez vs Shakur Stevenson Undercard
With strong rumours that Daniel Dubois vs Jared Anderson is set for February 2026 in Saudi Arabia but won’t be a main event contest, it seems that it will instead serve as a compelling chief support to the highly anticipated Teofimo Lopez vs Shakur Stevenson fight.
Lopez and Stevenson have been going back and forth on social media for months now, with a fight between the pair yet to materialise. That was until His Excellency Turki Alalshikh stepped in and gave both fighters what they wanted, thus making the fight official.
Although not formally announced by any promoters involved or Alalshikh himself, Lopez vs Stevenson will likely headline this February card in Saudi Arabia with Dubois vs Anderson featuring as the co-main event.
‘The Takeover’ is currently The Ring and WBO World Super-Lightweight Title holder, putting both belts on the line against the three-weight world champion Stevenson who is looking to add world honours in a fourth weight class.
With Lopez vs Stevenson confirmed with odds leaked, it seems the undefeated challenger will go into the contest as a pre-fight favourite against the champion, despite giving away a whole host of advantages such as size, weight, height and power.
That being said, Stevenson is an elite fighter and is widely regarded as a top 10 pound-for-pound star in boxing circles today. A win over Lopez in a fourth weight class would catapult him into the top five P4P.
But prior to the main event, boxing fans will be treated to a truly remarkable heavyweight contest as Daniel Dubois vs Jared Anderson takes centre-stage in a cross-Atlantic battle between two fearsome fighters.
