PSG and Barcelona are among Europe’s elite eyeing up a shock move for West Ham star Malick Diouf.
The Hammers now face a massive battle to convince the defender to stay in east London with several Champions League clubs circling.
And following Diouf’s latest admission on his future, an exit from the London Stadium now seems very likely.
Diouf said: “Ideally, I see myself at a top club, among the five best in the world.
“I think I have the potential to get there through hard work. And I hope, God willing, to achieve that. I have only been in the professional world for two years, so I remain patient.”
Diouf isn’t the only Irons star looking for a way out, with Lucas Paqueta keen on a West Ham January exit as well.

Following his £19million move from Slavia Prague in the summer, the left back has been one of West Ham’s standout stars.
While the Irons have had a disappointing start to the season, the same can’t be said for Diouf, who is now being lined up for a move to Ligue 1 and LaLiga.
Reigning European champions PSG are one of the clubs reportedly interested in Diouf and could test West Ham’s resolve in January and next summer if they’re unable to convince the English side to let go of their star man midway through the campaign.

PSG have one of the best left-backs in the world in Nuno Mendes.
However, the Portuguese has a sketchy injury history.
In May 2023, Mendes suffered a hamstring injury, which kept him out of action for nearly 300 days.
In the 2022/23 season, he missed over ten games with hamstring and muscular issues.
Mendes had another setback earlier in November, as he suffered a knee injury.
He has already missed a game for the Parisians, and the club have not shared a return date.
Barcelona Also Keep Tabs On Diouf
Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the defender.
Like PSG, Barcelona already have a first-choice left back in Alejandro Balde doing wonders – but there is little competition for the youngster.
Barca believe Balde has room for improvement, and adding another top left-back would be beneficial.
Hansi Flick is reportedly a big admirer of Diouf and has given Barcelona the green-light to pursue him.
Diouf, 20, only joined West Ham in the summer, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal until 2030.
But should one of Europe’s elite stump up enough cash to the Hammers and convince the player himself, then his stay in east London could be short-lived
