England face off against Spain in the European Women’s Championship final on Sunday, and our betting tips for the clash can be backed in an 11/2 bet builder.
The 2025 Women’s Euros draws to a close with reigning champions England taking on world champions Spain in a repeat of the 2023 Women’s World Cup final in Basel on Sunday evening.
Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses left it late once again in the semi-final to overcome Italy.
Trailing 1-0 in regular time, Arsenal star Michelle Agyemang netted a 96th minute leveller to send the clash to extra-time before Chloe Kelly sealed a dramatic triumph in the 119th minute.
With an incredible 10.2 million audience at its peak, England’s victory over Italy broke ITV streaming records, with the clash drawing in the broadcaster’s biggest audience of 2025.
La Roja, meanwhile, were held to a goalless stalemate in 90 minutes against Germany in their semi-final clash. Like the Lionesses, they sealed their spot in the final by prevailing in extra time.
Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati, a two-time Ballon d’Or winner in 2023 and 2024, netted the all-important goal, converting from a tight angle after a brilliant turn in the 113th minute.
Spain are favoured ahead of the final, with betting sites pricing them at 4/11 to lift the trophy.
England vs Spain Women’s Euro 2025 Final Betting Tips
- Spain to lift the trophy @ 4/11
- Both Teams to Score – Yes @ 5/6
- Claudia Pina to Score at Any Time @ 9/4
Spain to Lift the Trophy @ 4/11
England will be eyeing revenge for their 2023 World Cup final defeat, but we can only see this meeting going one way, and that’s with Spain lifting their maiden European Championship title.
Montserrat Tome Vazquez’s side have impressed massively, and are the only side to boast a 100% record at the tournament. This includes comfortable wins over Portugal, Belgium and Italy in the group stage, and victories over Switzerland and Germany in the knockout phase.
The Lionesses, meanwhile, suffered defeat to France in the groups and just about scraped through the quarter and semi-finals.
Their wins over Wales and the Netherlands were mightily impressive, however.
Although their overall H2H record favours England, recent meetings between the pair put Spain as favourites, with the world champions winning two of their last three encounters.
You can back our tip for Spain to lift the trophy at a price of around 4/11.
Both Teams to Score – Yes @ 5/6
Although we expect the Spanish to prevail, we can see both sides scoring in this one.
Both teams have scored in four of England’s five matches at the European Championship, while the feat was also achieved when they faced off against Spain in the Nations League last month.
Additionally, the pair are the tournament’s two highest-scoring teams.
They have both scored in all five of their respective matches thus far, and you can back that trend to continue at 5/6.
Claudia Pina to Score at Any Time @ 9/4
Barcelona’s Claudia Pina has shone for both club and country in 2025.
She registered a total of 20 goals and eight assists for La Blaugrana this term and has two goals and an assist for La Roja at this summer’s European Championship.
On top of that, she has an excellent record against England stopper Hannah Hampton.
Pina has scored five goals in her last three matches against the Chelsea goalkeeper for club and country, with two of the goals coming in last month’s 2-1 Nations League win.
At a price of 9/4, we’re backing the 23-year-old to extend her record against Hampton by scoring at any time during Sunday’s final.
