England Women’s Euros viewing figures were the highest recorded by ITV so far this year as the Lionesses earned a dramatic semi-final victory over Italy on Tuesday.
Defending champions England left it late once again to snatch a last-gasp win in extra time.
The Lionesses looked to be heading out when teenager Michelle Agyemang grabbed a 96th-minute equaliser.
And with moments left of the extra period, Chloe Kelly stepped up to send England through to yet another final.
Kelly’s initial penalty was saved, but the 27-year-old Arsenal striker kept her composure to tap in the rebound.
Barbara Bonansea had put Italy ahead early on, but some inspired substitutions from England boss Sarina Wiegman brought the Lionesses back into it.
Wiegman is now chasing a stunning third straight Euros title as a manager, with England in their third successive major final.
They will play the winner of Germany and Spain, who face off in the other semi on Wednesday.
Ahead of the game, the best new betting sites in the UK have England as second favourites, at 2/1.
World champions Spain, who beat England in the World Cup final, are 4/6 to lift the trophy.

England Women’s Euros Viewing Figures Top ITV Rankings
England’s victorious semi-final on Tuesday brought in the biggest viewing figures on ITV in 2025.
With a peak audience of 10.2 million, the game averaged eight million throughout the full 120 minutes.
This was also ITV’s highest average audience among those aged 16-34.
And streaming service ITVX also saw records broken, with 17.2 million streams for the biggest single day of 2025.
The Lionesses’ audience has been steadily growing throughout the tournament.
For the opening game against France, 2.6 million tuned in, with 4.2 million for the final group game against Wales.
Last weekend’s quarter-final win on the BBC had a peak audience of 7.3 million.

When Is The Women’s Euros Final?
But all of those figures are likely to be dwarfed by the viewing audience for the final.
ITV will once again show Sunday’s match against Spain, after they beat Germany in their semi-final, sharing broadcast rights with the BBC.
With a 17:00 BST kick off, the final will be held in Basel, Switzerland at St. Jakob-Park, home to FC Basel.
In the ITV studio on Sunday will be Laura Woods, Ian Wright, Emma Hayes and Karen Carney.
Should England do it again, expect to see the SPOTY odds for another England women’s footballer to drop once again, with two Lionesses winning the BBC award since 2022.
