High-flying Nottingham Forest head to the capital to take on Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday, and we’ve got the latest team news and confirmed lineups included in our preview ahead of the action.
Fulham vs Nottingham Forest Preview
In-form Nottingham Forest travel to West London to take on Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, where they’ll be looking to build on a 7-0 win over Brighton last weekend and their FA Cup victory over Exeter in midweek.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side didn’t make it easy for themselves against the League One outfit on Tuesday however, as they were held to a 2-2 draw after 120 minutes and were forced to partake in a penalty shootout.
Luckily for the Reds, they prevailed, with Wales international Neco Williams netting the winning spot kick. Following the victory, they have drawn fellow English top-flight side Ipswich Town in next month’s fifth round.
Forest, who have lost just one of their last 12 matches across all competitions, occupy third place in the Premier League table ahead of the trip to Craven Cottage, three points behind Arsenal and 10 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.

The Cottagers, meanwhile, are down in ninth place, 11 points behind their Gameweek 25 counterparts, and they also come into this one off the back of two successive victories. Last weekend, they impressively beat Newcastle 2-1 up at St. James’ Park, and they followed that up with a 2-1 win over Wigan in the FA Cup fourth round.
Since Forest were promoted from the Championship in 2022, Fulham boast a strong record in this fixture. They have won four of their last five league meetings, including a 1-0 triumph in the reverse fixture back in September.
Fulham Team News
The hosts are without Reiss Nelson (thigh), Harry Wilson (foot) and Kenny Tete (knee) due to their respective injury concerns. Both Wilson and Tete are expected to be out until at least late March, likely early April.
January signing Willian, who returns to the club less than six months after departing, is an option on the wing, however Adama Traore and Alex Iwobi are likelier to be named in the starting lineup.
Raul Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe should comprise the remainder of the attack, while Sasa Lukic and Sander Berge are tipped to start in midfield, in front of a back line containing Timothy Castagne, Joachim Andersen, Calvin Bassey and Antonee Robinson. Bernd Leno will almost certainly return to the lineup after being rested against Wigan.
Nottingham Forest Team News
As for the visitors, second-choice goalkeeper Carlos Miguel (hamstring) and Taiwo Awoniyi (concussion) were both forced off in the midweek cup win, and the pair are expected to miss out on the trip to the capital.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, meanwhile, should make his return after recovering from a groin injury. Anthony Elanga will likely occupy the other flank, with in-form New Zealand striker Chris Wood set to lead the line once more.
Elsewhere, Ola Aina, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Neco Williams are expected to come back into the lineup after dropping to the bench against Exeter, while Danilo, Elliot Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White could make up the midfield.

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest Prediction
The UK’s best football betting sites are favouring Fulham to come out on top at Craven Cottage on Saturday, at around 6/5, while a draw is valued at 12/5 and a win for Nottingham Forest is priced at 23/10.
We at SportsCasting are going against the bookmakers by backing the visitors to prevail, and here’s why.
The Cottagers are winless in each of their last five league matches at home, while Forest boast the second-best away record in the division. As well, the return of Hudson-Odoi will boost the visitors’ attacking options, and we expect the ex-Chelsea man to combine with Elanga, Gibbs-White and Wood to seal another crucial win on the road.
Prediction: Fulham 0-2 Nottingham Forest
