Manchester United Outcast Fuming After Deadline Day Transfer Was Blocked

Manchester United outcast Tyrell Malacia was left fuming after the club blocked his transfer deadline day move.

The 26-year-old Dutchman was part of Ruben Amorim’s bomb squad and has been limited to just two minutes of top-flight football this season.

He had been deemed surplus to requirements for the entirety of the campaign, and he was set to make the switch to Besiktas on Monday.

Manchester United Block Tyrell Malacia Move

It’s reported that Malacia was ready to board a plane for Turkey when he received a call from Director of Football Jason Wilcox telling him they’ve pulled out of a deal.

That is because United are concerned about the lack of left-back options after Patrick Dorgu picked up a long-term injury and Harry Amass joined Norwich on loan.

Amass picked up a serious injury during a training session and is sidelined for a “long time” having only made one appearance for the Canaries.

Reports claim that Malacia was left fuming that his move was blocked, given his lack of involvement this season.

He’s been left on the bench in 12 of United’s last 13 matches and was angling for a move to help reignite his career.

Luke Shaw remains the club’s only fit natural left-back, but Diogo Dalot and Lisandro Martinez have filled in that position when called upon.

There are also lingering concerns over Shaw’s fitness, given his recent record with injuries.

Leeds Set To Sign Manchester United Talent

It’s been a quiet day of transfer business at Old Trafford, but they are set to sell talented midfielder Edward Ibrovic-Fletcher to Leeds.

The two clubs have agreed a fee with Leeds looking towards the future.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has been playing his football in the Under-18 squad and has impressed both at club and international level with Serbia’s youth sides.

Marcus Rashford Won’t Make United Return

Marcus Rashford will not play for Manchester United again and has made his decision that he won’t return to the club.

The England international is on loan at Barcelona and has his heart set on remaining at the Nou Camp beyond the current campaign.

Barca’s financial issues may scupper a permanent deal as they won’t be able to match his current wage packet, but Rashford is willing to drop his demands.

It’s also reported that even if Barcelona turn down the opportunity to sign him permanently, Rashford still has his heart set on leaving United despite the change of manager.

Michael Carrick has strengthened his position as the permanent Manchester United manager after winning three consecutive matches.
