Manchester United will host Arsenal on the opening weekend of the 2025-26 Premier League season, with their full fixtures now confirmed.
Ruben Amorim and his Manchester United squad kickstart their 2025-26 Premier League campaign with a home fixture against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal on Sunday, 17 August. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30pm.
Other notable fixtures include the first Manchester derby of the campaign on Saturday, 13 September, with Manchester City hosting the Matchweek 4 encounter. The following week, United welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford.
Their first meeting with Liverpool, whose fixture list includes a home tie against Bournemouth on opening weekend, comes on Saturday, 18 October, at Anfield. The reverse fixture is scheduled for Saturday, 2 May.
Derby matches against newly promoted Leeds are scheduled for Saturday, 3 June, at Elland Road, and Saturday, 11 April, on Sir Matt Busby Way. United round off the campaign away at Brighton on Sunday, 24 May.

Having endured a dreadful season, in which they finished in 15th place and lost in the Europa League final to Tottenham, it was glaringly obvious that the Red Devils required reinforcements ahead of 2025-26.
They’ve got off to an excellent start in that regard though, securing the services of Matheus Cunha from Wolves. Additionally, United are confident of signing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford despite interest from Spurs.
We expect the Red Devils will make even more summer transfers, with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres among the latest stars to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
