Young England star Myles Lewis-Skelly is set to sign a new contract at Arsenal, with his mum helping to negotiate the deal.

The 18-year-old left-back had been in discussions with the Gunners for months over an extension.

But with his current deal expiring next year, he has now reached an agreement with the club.

The left-back, whose current deal expires in 2026, has been in talks with the Gunners over recent months.

Lewis-Skelly enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2024-25. Making his debut in September against Manchester City, he made 39 total appearances.

Such was his impact that a national call-up followed, with Lewis-Skelly scoring on his senior international debut in March.

He became the youngest England player in history to score on a senior debut, netting in a 2-0 win against Albania.

His performances also saw him shortlisted among the PFA Young Player of the Year nominees.

It is believed that her son Myles will become one of the best-paid young footballers in the world.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is also thought to have played a huge role in discussions.

This new deal will be Lewis-Skelly’s first since signing his first professional deal aged 17 in October 2023.
