Napoli were even likely to open direct talks with Nunez. However, the deal fell through, and now, the Saudi Pro League is likely to win the race for Nunez.

Darwin Nunez Al-Hilal Transfer Fee Revealed
Al-Hilal are quite eager to get their hands on Liverpool man Darwin Nunez, with it reflecting fairly on their offer. According to reports, Al-Hilal are prepared to pay around £61 million for the Uruguay international.
Earlier this year, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr registered their interest in Nunez. Although the deal did not materialise, the Reds supposedly received an offer in the region of £60 million for the out-of-favour striker.

Nunez, 26, joined Liverpool in a club-record deal worth £85 million in the summer of 2022. He has since played 143 games for the club in all competitions, scoring just 40 times. His current deal with the Merseysiders runs until June 30, 2028.
