Before the 2024/25 FPL season, one of the big value buys was Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo – who cost just £7m at the start of the campaign.

Mbeumo fired in 20 league goals for the Bees and added to that with nine assists.

While, like Salah – Mbeumo is also the spot-kick taker for Brentford.

Next season, however, the striker might not be a Bee – with strong Bryan Mbeumo transfer speculation that he’ll be joining Manchester United.

Let’s see. But one thing’s for sure – he won’t start next season as cheap as £7m.
