Jamahal Hill vs Khalil Rountree headlines the next UFC Fight Night card on Saturday night in a compelling light-heavyweight clash. Check out our preview, fight prediction and much more ahead of UFC Baku this weekend in Azerbaijan. Jamahal Hill is of course the former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion, with Khalil Rountree himself having challenged Alex Pereira for the 205-pound belt in his last fight last October. SportsCasting’s guide below will tell you all you need to know when it comes to the upcoming UFC Baku: Hill vs Rountree show and main event bout. UFC Baku: Hill vs Rountree Preview All eyes are on the Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan this weekend, as Jamahal Hill vs Khalil Rountree headlines the next UFC Fight Night card on Saturday night for UK MMA fans. Along with the Hill vs Rountree main event, there are a further 11 fights on the rest of the main card and prelims. Both main event fighters have won seven UFC bonuses between them, with an eighth likely between the two hard-hitting 205-pound contenders this weekend. As the former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion, Jamahal Hill has all of the pedigree heading into this match-up. That being said, he hasn’t won a fight since January 2023 and has lost his last two bouts to Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka respectively. As for Khalil Rountree, he is coming off the back of a loss too. That came last October against ‘Poatan’ for the UFC Light-Heavyweight Title, as he too looks to get back into the 205-pound title picture now that there is a new champion in Magomed Ankalaev. A win here for either man throws them right back into the mix for a title shot in 2026. So, who will walk away from the octagon this weekend with another victory to their name and a statement performance under their belt? We’ll soon find out! Jamahal Hill vs Khalil Rountree Prediction It may come as a surprise to MMA fans that Khalil Rountree is actually the favourite here, despite being the lower ranked fighter and the one with less pedigree of the two combatants. That being said, Jamahal Hill hasn’t won since beating Glover Teixeira to win the UFC Light-Heavyweight Title all the way back in January 2023. Losing becomes a habit and Hill hasn’t experienced that winning feeling for almost 30 months now. That could play on his mind, with Rountree also not disgracing himself at all against Alex Pereira last time out. This is as close to a 50/50 as you are likely to see in the 205-pound division. Both men are strikers and relatively big punchers too, with a knockout fairly likely for either man. Given the five-fight winning run he was on prior to his defeat to ‘Poatan’ and on sheer activity, we are siding with Khalil Rountree to get the job done here. Expect it to come via knockout, perhaps early too with both men ultimately confident of securing the finish. Win this and Rountree could well get the call from Dana White to be Alex Pereira’s next fight, unless he rematches Magomed Ankalaev or moves up to heavyweight himself. SportsCasting’s MMA expert prediction: Khalil Rountree to WIN via KO/TKO UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree – Fight Info 🥊 Headline Fight: Jamahal Hill vs Khalil Rountree 📊 Records: Hill (12-3, 7 KO’s) | Rountree (13-6, 9 KO’s) 📅 Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025 🕛 Main Event Time: Approx. 10.30pm BST 🏆 Title: N/A 📺 TV Channel: TNT Sports 1 🏟 Venue: Baku Crystal Hall | Baku, Azerbaijan UFC Baku Tickets For Hill vs Rountree Tickets for UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree at the Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan on Saturday night are priced far cheaper than the standard UFC pay-per-view shows. One huge criticism of the UFC and Dana White is that the ticket prices are extortionate the majority of the time. The cost of some UFC tickets total price fans out who simply aren’t able to afford to purchase tickets for live UFC events. For this specific card, the Baku Crystal Hall has a rough capacity of 25,000 spectators or even more for combat sports events. These seats are split into sections with various different prices depending on where your seat is located inside the arena. There are a total of 12 different price points for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night card. UFC Baku isn’t too bad, and is a similar price to standard boxing events for UK fights. Tickets start at £48 with the most expensive seats costing around £338. The most expensive tickets are literally right next to the octagon and ring-walk track, hence the higher pricing. The average ticket price for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree card is around £160, according to TickPick. This is still on the rather expensive side, but isn’t a huge surprise given the UFC’s track record when it comes to their pricing point for tickets to all of their events. Standard UFC pay-per-view tickets, such as UFC 316 had an average price of $1,021 (£750). This makes UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree tickets far cheaper than any of the recent PPV events and other Fight Night cards. What Time Is UFC Baku At? With 12 fights in total on the upcoming UFC Fight Night card, the action is set to get underway fairly early from the Baku Crystal Hall in the Azerbaijan capital. There is a three hour time difference from Baku to the UK. This means that the UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree main card will begin at around 8pm on Saturday night for British MMA fans. The preliminary action will kick-off at around 5pm in the UK and is available to watch on UFC Fight Pass. This UFC Baku card is actually an afternoon event for US MMA fans, with the main card kicking off at 3pm ET for a change. The main event itself should take place no later than 11pm for British fight fans. A 10.30pm ring walk is likely for UK MMA fans for Saturday’s blockbuster UFC Baku card – headlined by Jamahal Hill vs Khalil Rountree. This means that MMA fans in the UK will be able to tune into TNT Sports 1 to watch the full UFC Fight Night: Hill vs Rountree card this weekend.
