Is the Manningcast on tonight? Check out Eli and Peyton Manning’s 2022 ‘Monday Night Football’ Schedule
One of the highlights of the 2021 NFL season was the ESPN alternate broadcast of Monday Night Football, the Manningcast. The Manningcast features retired NFL Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Eli Manning watching the football game while chatting with each other and a slew of superstar guests from the world of pro sports and entertainment.
The show, produced by Peyton’s Omaha Productions, allows viewers to be a fly on the wall and watch the last NFL game of the week with Peyton and Eli as they talk football, tease each other, and chat with their celebrity guests. And they just happen to be two of the best 20 (or so) QBs in NFL history.
Some of the highlights from last season’s Manningcast include Rob Gronkowski admitting he doesn’t watch film, Marshawn Lynch cursing up a storm, and Snoop Dogg gifting Eli a Death Row Records gold chain for his birthday. The best parts of last year’s Manningcast, though, were when Peyton and Eli sat down with other great NFL QBs and talked football. Their chats with Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers made for some of the best football viewing of 2021.
The only problem with the Monday Night Manningcast is that the schedule is sporadic. The Manning brothers didn’t commit to the full 17-week Monday Night Football schedule, so they are not on ESPN every Monday night.
During the 2022 NFL season, the Manningcast is on during 10 NFL games: nine regular season contests and on Super Wild Card Weekend in January.
