UFC commentator Sean Wheelock is used to calling live action inside the octagon, but now he'll be doing it in the bedroom.

Sean Wheelock has made a living off calling play-by-play for various sports. As a commentator for mixed martial arts and professional soccer, Wheelock always has to be on his toes and react in real-time to the twists and turns of both sports. On Wednesday, Wheelock agreed to take his talents to a world with more literal twists and turns — adult films.

Wheelock is teaming up with ImLive to call a different kind of play-by-play for the site’s live cams. Coming from the world of MMA, Wheelock is about to experience a whole new form of the rear naked chokehold.

Sean Wheelock has been a force in the MMA and soccer commentating world for over a decade now. You won’t hear him during the UFC 251 pay-per-view this weekend, but Wheelock has made a name for himself through other popular MMA events.

Wheelock worked as a play-by-play commentator for the M-1 Challenge and the Bellator Fighting Championships since 2010. He now has his own MMA show on Fite TV called “MMA Rewind.”

Along with MMA commentating, Wheelock has also held a wide variety of soccer play-by-play roles throughout his career. Wheelock started at XM Radio covering the 2006 World Cup. He then moved on to ESPN and the Fox Soccer Channel as a radio commentator.

Wheelock served as the play-by-play voice of FC Kansas City until the team ceased operations in 2017. He has also covered CONCACAF soccer for BBC.

Wheelock is still in the heart of the MMA and professional soccer industries, but he’s about to venture into a whole new world of play-by-play.

On Wednesday morning, Darren Rovell of the Action Network reported Wheelock is partnering up with ImLive to call the action for the site’s live cams. The product will be geared toward blind consumers.

Wheelock will have to be more creative than he’s ever been behind a microphone. If he thought calling a devastating armbar or a swift counter attack was tough, wait until he encounters the unpredictable nature of an adult video. His new venture will surely test his quick wit and ability to paint a picture.

ImLive offered Joe Buck $1 million for the same job, but he turned it down

Sean Wheelock might’ve accepted the bizarre position with ImLive, but he wasn’t the porn site’s first choice. ImLive actually reached out to Fox Sports commentator Joe Buck in April. The site offered Buck $1 million for the job, but he turned it down.

As much as sports fans across the country would love to hear Buck’s buttery voice commentate an adult video, they’ll have to settle for Wheelock.

No details surrounding Wheelock’s contract with ImLive have surfaced yet, but it’s doubtful he garnered as much as Buck would’ve.
