Tiger Woods’ son Charlie is only 11 years old, but he already has a PGA Tour-quality swing. In fact, he might have a prettier swing than his legendary father himself.

Tiger and Charlie were recently filmed warming up for the 2020 PNC Championship this weekend, and it looked like a mirror image on the range. Charlie already has his father’s swing mechanics, mannerisms, and of course, his signature club twirl down to perfection.

Tiger Woods’ son Charlie is a golf prodigy

When he was a youngster, Tiger Woods was already being heralded as the next Jack Nicklaus. Now, there’s a new golf prodigy in town, and it’s none other than Woods’ son Charlie.

Tiger got Charlie involved in the game from a young age. Now that he’s old enough to compete in junior tournaments, he’s blowing the competition away. Charlie already has multiple tournament wins at 11 years old. Some of the wins even came with Tiger himself serving as Charlie’s caddie.

Back in August, Charlie won a junior tournament in Palm City, Fla. by five strokes. The young superstar shot a 3-under 33 in the nine-hole event to blow away the field. He didn’t record a single bogey in the tournament.

A week later, Charlie shot 1-under in another nine-hole tournament to win by three strokes.

Charlie Woods might already have a better swing than his father

There isn’t much footage out there of Charlie playing golf. Tiger wants to keep his family out of the spotlight as much as possible so that they can live their own normal lives without the pressure of fame.

But we finally got a good look at Charlie’s swing this week as the father-son duo prepares to tee it up at the PNC Championship. The Woods’ hit the range Thursday morning at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Fla., and the resemblance was uncanny.

At 11 years old, Charlie might already have a prettier swing than his father. He has a beautiful tempo, and it’s clear Tiger shaped his son’s golf swing himself. Charlie even has his father’s famous club twirl down at an early age.

Don’t be surprised if you see that smooth swing on the PGA Tour in a decade.

Tiger and Charlie Woods will tee it up at the PNC Championship

Charlie Woods will finally show off his game to a national audience when he joins Tiger to play in the 2020 PNC Championship this weekend. The tournament is a father-son event that will include Justin Thomas and his father, Bernard Langer and his son, and John Daly and his son, among other famous pairs.

The PNC Championship will air across NBC, Golf Channel, and Peacock on Saturday and Sunday. NBC will broadcast the tournament live from 2:30-5 p.m. ET on Saturday and 3-6 p.m. ET on Sunday.

We can’t wait to see what mini Tiger can do on the big stage.
