Inter Milan have reportedly enquired about the possibility of signing Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United ahead of next season.

Inter Eye Marcus Rashford Loan Deal

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is drawing interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Last season’s Champions League finalists have enquired about the availability of the England international, with the Manchester Evening News reporting that they’d like to sign him on loan.

Rashford wants to join a Champions League club, and while there has been interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey, the forward hasn’t entertained the potentially lucrative moves.

United, who rate the 27-year-old at £40m and want to sell him permanently, believe that there is a low possibility of finding a suitable bidder this summer.

This is despite Rashford impressing on loan at Aston Villa last season, where he scored four goals in 17 appearances before a hamstring injury cut his season short in early April.

The MEN‘s report also states that Old Trafford chiefs expect the winger to move abroad.

A move to another Premier League club isn’t out of the question, although Rashford, who is not prepared to take a wage cut on his £325,000 per week salary, does not want to move to London.

All things considered, a season-long loan move to the San Siro certainly makes sense.

Rashford has drawn interest from elsewhere too, with LaLiga champions Barcelona being linked with a move earlier in the window.

Talks of a move to Catalonia have quietened in recent weeks however, amid Barcelona agreeing personal terms with Nico Williams ahead of his proposed move from Athletic Club.

Newcastle United have also been tipped as a potential destination for the wantaway star.

Manchester United Transfer News: Red Devils Chasing Mbeumo Deal

In other news, the Red Devils remain on the chase for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.

Thomas Frank’s move to Tottenham may have complicated the move, as he wants to bring the forward with him to North London, while there is also the allure of Champions League football.

Regardless, United are still confident of signing Mbeumo despite Spurs’ interest.

Ruben Amorim’s side are also said to be considering a move for Eintracht Frankfurt’s highly sought-after Hugo Ekitike. Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested as well.

Additionally, the Red Devils have been linked with Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

In terms of outgoings, alongside Rashford, reports suggest that Amorim wants to get rid of Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho.

Sancho is drawing interest from Serie A champions Napoli, although there appears to be a snag regarding the financial make-up of any prospective move. Juventus are also linked.

Garnacho, meanwhile, is drawing interest from the likes of Chelsea, Villa, Tottenham, Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid. Some outlets report that United are looking to secure upwards of £70m for the Argentine, who featured regularly on their run to the Europa League final.

Rasmus Hojlund is another who has been tipped to depart. Inter reportedly enquired about his availability at the start of the transfer window, but rumours of an exit have since quietened.
