This week sees the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship take centre-stage on DP World Tour, with four of Team Europe’s victorious Ryder Cup stars in action.
A whole host of big names and talented players are teeing it up at the Old Course St Andrews this week, looking to clinch the coveted trophy come Sunday in Scotland.
SportsCasting are on hand to provide both outright and each-way betting tips as well as in-depth analysis, predictions, a preview and the latest odds.
Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Betting Tips
Our golf tips for the final few FedEx Cup events on the PGA Tour yielded a few winners, as did our Ryder Cup betting tips where we successfully backed Team Europe to win as underdogs.
We also backed Tommy Fleetwood to be Europe’s top points scorer at 11/2, as well as selecting him to win the Tour Championship a few weeks ago to clinch the FedEx Cup title.
We also had successful each-way selections at the FedEx St Jude Championship with both JJ Spaun (50/1) and Akshay Bhatia (80/1) coming inside the top 10.
This week, we are back with a further three selections for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the DP World Tour. We have once again selected one outright betting tip and two each-way selections for this week’s event at the famous St Andrews.
They are as follows:
- Brooks Koepka WIN @ 22/1
- Marcus Armitage E/W @ 110/1
- Guido Migliozzi E/W @ 125/1
Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Predictions
Brooks Koepka to Win @ 22/1
Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka is amongst the betting favourites at odds of 22/1 with golf betting sites this week, and we think he could claim his eighth European Tour victory this week in Scotland.
Koepka has had a relatively poor season over at LIV Golf and in the four majors, but showed sings a fortnight ago of being back to somewhere near his best at the Open de France.
The American led after 54-holes but finished in a tie solo fourth, despite shooting -3 par on the final day. Although he didn’t win, it was clear to see that Koepka was back playing some world class golf.
On his day, it’s fairly clear that ‘Brooksy’ is one of the best players in the world. He has five major championships to his name, which just shows the level of elite performer the 35-year-old is on his day.
Koepka has 21 professional wins under his belt, including five majors, nine PGA Tour titles and seven European Tour events. Here at SportsCasting we fancy Koepka to perhaps add to that record at Old Course St Andrews.
Brooks Koepka’s net worth has surpassed $60m of late, and we feel he has every chance of adding to his riches this week in Scotland with victory at St Andrews.
At odds of 22/1, Koepka makes obvious appeal and is our outright Alfred Dunhill Links Championship betting tip this week.
Marcus Armitage Each-Way @ 110/1
In terms of an each-way selection, former European Tour winner Marcus Armitage is perhaps a man worth keeping an eye on this week at St Andrews.
Although Armitage has just one European Tour win under his belt that came back in 2021 at the Porsche European Open, he has shown signs of getting back to his best of late too.
At 38-years-old, Armitage is one of the elder statesmen on the DP World Tour. That being said, he is still a top quality golfer and more than capable of winning on his day.
The Englishman has missed his fair share of cuts this year, but finished T12 at the Irish Open in early September before finishing T5 on his last outing at the Open de France.
It’s clear that Armitage is still a man who can finish near the top of the leaderboard on a regular basis. He was just one shot off the lead heading into the final day at Le Golf National a fortnight ago too, showing that he has the consistency to threaten the leaders.
At huge odds of 110/1, we just couldn’t ignore Marcus Armitage as our first each-way betting tip for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship this week in Scotland.
With the Rory McIlroy next tournament not for another couple of weeks, this leaves the door open for plenty of other players at St Andrews this week.
Guido Migliozzi Each-Way @ 125/1
Our third and final Alfred Dunhill Links Championship betting tips sees Italian golfer Guido Migliozzi selected as an each-way fancy at lucrative odds of 125/1.
Migliozzi was really struggling for form at the beginning of the year, but has put in some reasonably strong performances of late that show he is trending in the right direction.
He finished just outside the top 10 at the Omega European Masters in August, as well as playing reasonably well at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
Just a fortnight ago at the Open de France, the 28-year-old finished in T5 on a score of -13 par. He has shown signs of regaining his best golf, which is why we’re selecting him as our second each-way pick for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship this week.
The Italian does have four European Tour victories to his name too, so knows how to get it over the line come the back-nine on Sunday too.
Although he mightn’t win at Old Course St Andrews this week, he presents great value at odds of 125/1 as our second and final each-way selection.
Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Preview
All eyes are on the Old Course St Andrews this week as the DP World Tour heads to Scotland for this highly competitive and popular Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Some of the best players on the European Tour, as well as some LIV Golf stars, are in action this week, looking to hit top form and claim victory around the famous hallowed turf of the ‘Home Of Golf’.
There is a total of $5m in prize money on the table, with the eventual winner pocketing $816,000. Defending champion Tyrrell Hatton is in action, looking to go back-to-back for the second time in what would be his fourth win in this event.
Including Hatton, four of Europe’s Ryder Cup stars feature at the Alfred Dunhill Links this week. The others are Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick and Robert MacIntyre.
The four European Ryder Cup heroes unsurprisingly head the field as the four outright favourites, with several other big names in action such as Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and Cam Smith to name but a few.
The Open de France is a straight stroke-play event over 72 holes, with the final group expected to tee off at approximately midday on Sunday.
So, who will reign supreme at St Andrews this week and claim victory at the 2025 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship come Sunday after 72 holes?
