Mohamed Salah has sent yet another damning message to Liverpool with the outcast left training alone in the gym.
The Egyptian took part in training on Monday but did not travel to Italy with the rest of the squad ahead of their Champions League game with Inter Milan on Tuesday.
It came after Salah’s explosive interview in the wake of Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United, in which he was left on the bench.
Salah claimed he had no relationship with manager Arne Slot and felt he had been thrown under the bus during Liverpool’s poor run of form.
His future ahead of the January transfer window is now in doubt and Saudi club Al-Ittihad are favourites to land his signature.
Mo Salah post points to Liverpool ending
On Tuesday morning, while his team-mates prepare for their game at the San Siro, Salah took to social media to send another message to his fans and the club.
It showed the 33-year-old sitting alone in the gym at the club – a synonymous message that he has now isolated himself following his abrupt comments.
Salah didn’t write a caption alongside the image, but no words were needed.
In the background was the Liverpool emblem, alongside the words ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone.’
On his Instagram page, the image stands alongside a pinned picture of him sitting next to last season’s accolades, including the Premier League trophy, the Golden Boot, the FWA Footballer of the Year award and the Players’ Player of the Year.
There’s every chance that Salah, who sits third in the club’s record scorers list with 250, has played his last game with the club.
The winger will head to the Africa Cup of Nations at the beginning of next week, and speculation over his future will continue to rumble in the background.
Manager Slot shared his thoughts on Salah’s comments for the first time on Monday, and when asked whether he will play for the club again, responded: “I have no clue. I cannot answer that question at this point in time.
“I am a firm believer that there is always a possibility for a player to return. But that is not … I can leave it with that I think.”

Liverpool identify Mo Salah replacement
Liverpool will undoubtedly be planning for life without Salah, and they may have already identified his replacement.
Scouts were in action to watch RB Leipzig’s right winger Yan Diomande score a hat-trick at the weekend in the 6-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
It meant he became the second youngest player to score a hat-trick in Bundesliga history.
He plays on both flanks, but has featured 10 times on the right wing in 15 appearances this season.
Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo has been heavily linked with Liverpool since his £60million release clause came to the surface.
However, he typically plays on the left wing and will be identified as a long-term replacement for Luis Diaz, who left for Bayern Munich this summer.
