A win for Sheffield United on Friday could see them move to the top of the Championship table, and will do their hopes of automatic promotion no harm.

The Blades lost at home to Leeds United in February but regained their form ahead of the international break to close the gap on the league leaders.

Now level with their Yorkshire neighbours on 80 points, they are two ahead of third-placed Burnley.

There remain plenty of injury concerns for Sheffield United ahead of Friday.

Defenders Alfie Gilchrist, Harry Clarke and Rhys Norrington-Davies and midfielders Tom Davies are all still expected to be out, along with Oliver Arblaster and Jamie Shackleton.

Vinicius Souza missed the Steel City derby against Sheffield Wednesday, and the Brazilian remains a doubt.
