What Is Justin Turner’s Net Worth?

Throughout most of the past decade, the LA Dodgers have been one of the best teams in baseball. One player who has played a significant role in their success over the years — who has also been underrated — is third baseman, Justin Turner. During his career, Turner has become one of the most reliable hitters in the MLB. So, since he has been so successful over the years, what is Turner’s net worth?

Justin Turner has been a reliable hitter in his career

Turner went to the Cincinnati Reds in the seventh round of the 2006 MLB draft. He later made his debut in 2009 for the Baltimore Orioles, but he became a solid player in 2011 for the New York Mets. He hit .260 that year, scored 49 runs, and had 51 RBIs.

Turner then improved over the next couple of seasons with the Mets, as he hit .280 in 2013, but he started becoming an underrated star while playing with the LA Dodgers in 2014.

He had a nice year in his first season with the Dodgers, as he hit .340, but in 2015 he started adding some power. Turner went .294 at the plate in 2015 and hit 16 home runs to go with 60 RBIs, and 55 runs scored.

Turner then improved his numbers even more in 2016. While going .275 at the plate that year, he hit 27 home runs, had 90 RBIs, and scored 79 runs. The 2017 season was then his first All-Star season, as he went .322 at the plate with 21 home runs, 71 RBIs, and 72 runs scored. He also finished eighth in NL MVP voting that year.

Since then, Turner has continued to be one of the most consistent hitters in the game, hitting .290 or better each of the last three seasons.

Overall, he has a career batting average of .292 to go with 124 home runs, 495 RBIs, and 504 runs scored.

He has helped the LA Dodgers win a lot of games over the years

In the years that Turner has played with the Dodgers, LA has made the playoffs in every single season.

After losing in the NLDS in 2014 and 2015, the Dodgers went to the NLCS in 2016 before ultimately losing in six games. Turner had a successful series in the NLDS that season, too, as he went .400 at the plate to go with one home run, five RBIs, and five runs scored.

However, in 2017, the Dodgers became one of the best teams in all of baseball. They ultimately won 104 games and reached the World Series that year. Turner had a great NLDS in that season, hitting .462 with one home run and five RBIs in three games, but he ultimately won the NLCS MVP. In that series, Turner hit .333 in five games, had two home runs, seven RBIs, and scored three runs. The Dodgers lost the World Series in seven games, though, to the Houston Astros.

In 2018, the Dodgers went to their second consecutive World Series but lost in five games. Turner played well in the NLDS and World Series that year, as he had a .357 batting average in the NLDS and a .333 batting average in the World Series.

The Dodgers won 106 games in 2019 but surprisingly lost in the NLDS in five games. However, in 2020 LA finally made it over the hump, winning the World Series in six games against the Tampa Bay Rays. Turner played well in the World Series, too, as he hit .320 to go with two home runs.
