Apparently, Tom Brady wasn’t too pleased with the first ending to his illustrious NFL career.

After a brief dalliance with retirement, the living legend decided to put the cleats back on and add to his tremendous lifetime numbers by playing out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ 2022 schedule. Sure, he doesn’t actually need to add anything to his 10-page resume. He’s already set up to earn a fortune in the broadcasting booth as soon as he hangs ’em up for good.

But now he has a chance to make up for a spirited comeback attempt that wasn’t quite enough in a 30-27 divisional-round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Brady threw for 329 yards and led a game-tying drive that finished with 42 seconds left in regulation, but a bomb from Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp seemingly sent him off into the sunset with a bitter taste lingering.

Except … it didn’t. Well, not for long, at least.

Brady has another loaded supporting cast surrounding him, including an incoming rookie who was born after the GOAT was drafted, and he’ll be out for blood during his 23rd professional season. You might as well circle every one of these games on your calendar.
