Which NFL Team Plays At Caesars Superdome?

The Caesars Superdome has played host to seven Super Bowls before, making it the the most used venue in NFL Super Bowl history. Super Bowl 60 sees a record eighth NFL showpiece played at the state-of-the-art multi-sports stadium in New Orleans.
Away from the Super Bowl, Caesars Superdome is the home stadium of NFL side the New Orleans Saints. The NFC South football team have played here since 1975, before it was called the Caesars Superdome of course.
The Saints played there from 1975 to 2004, before the stadium was reconstructed between 2004-2006. In 2006 the Saints returned to their Superdome, and have played their home games here ever since.
What Is The Capacity Of The Superdome?
The capacity of Caesars Superdome can vary depending on what event is on inside the stadium.
For regular New Orleans Saints NFL games, the capacity is said to be 73,208. This is expandable up to 76,468 for bigger games, which is what it will be for Super Bowl LIX.
For NBA games the maximum seating capacity is 73,432.
Overall, the Caesars Superdome can actually hold up to a maximum capacity of 83,000 people. This would be for the likes of a concert where far less of the stadium is used as opposed to a huge football field, basketball court or even a WWE wrestling ring.

What Else Is The Stadium Used For?
As previously mentioned, the Superdome isn’t just a football stadium. It is a multi-purpose stadium that has been used for various different sports and events over the years.
Yes it is the home of the New Orleans Saints, but there has been basketball played there in the past, as well as huge WWE, boxing, soccer, Olympic wresting, gymnastics, motocross, rugby union and tennis to name but a few other sports.
