During his time as a pro, “The Golden Boy” compiled an impressive 39-6 record. Even more impressively, 30 of his 39 wins came by knock out. On the other side, he was only knocked out twice in his career.

De La Hoya is one of the few legendary boxers who captured titles in multiple weight classes. He was one of the most versatile fighters of his era, and he was involved in some of the biggest pay-per-view fights of all time.

The Dynamo haven’t won an MLS Cup since De La Hoya purchased a stake in the team. Houston has missed the playoffs in five of the last six seasons.
