Since the first NASCAR race was run at famed Daytona International Speedway in 1959, 69 different drivers have won at least one Cup Series points race on the 2.5-mile tri-oval, the latest being young Austin Cindric, who made the 2022 Daytona 500 his first Cup Series victory. But let’s not forget that the Daytona 500 isn’t the only race run at Daytona.

Of those 69 different winners, 31 have won multiple races, while 19 have taken three or more checkered flags, a group that includes Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jimmie Johnson. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tony Stewart are part of the group of 11 that have won four Cup Series races at Daytona, and Jeff Gordon and Bobby Allison each won six. Oddly enough, nobody currently owns five wins at the track.

Fireball Roberts racked up seven wins at the home of NASCAR and did so in the span of just four years, winning his first on Independence Day in 1959 and his last that same day in 1963. He’s one of just four drivers to win seven or more Cup Series races at Daytona International Speedway. As for the other three, let’s take a closer look.
